Florante and Laura SRPG

A Simulation RPG about the romantic lives of Florante and Laura in the Kingdom of Albania. This game is a an adaptation of the Filipino Classic Epic Poetry “Florante At Laura” by Francisco Baltazar.

Game Story    

There was a time when an endless torrent of war happened in the reign of the Greek Empire. Two polarizing flames of belief fought for their own purpose: the first to obtain peace while the second is to conquer and gain supremacy over the other. It took the lives of many and thousands of swords had to clash until peace was attained. However, there is a storm brewing in the darkness. The bringer of the warring age is born – his name is Florante of Albania. To his countrymen, he is called the defender, the righteous, the hero. But to his enemies, he is called a blasphemer, a villain, selfish and a man without honor. This game shows the story of a man whose name is used by our grandfathers – where we recall his heroic tale of love, bravery and friendship.    

Playable Main Characters:

Florante – The son of Duke Briseo and Princess Floresca. The “blasphemer” of Persia.

Menandro – Florante’s best friend and classmate in Athens. Undefeated in battle.

Menalipo (unlockable character in Veteran mode) – An archer from Epirus and Florante’s cousin.

Laura – Daughter of King Linceo of Albania. She is Florante’s love.

Briseo – The Duke of Albania and the father of Florante.

 

Non-Playable Main Characters:

Aladin – The son of Sultan Ali-Adab; a warrior and a prince.

Flerida – She is Aladin’s girlfriend; a devoted archer.

Count Adolfo – The son of Count Sileno. The so called “Savior” of Albania.

Modes:

Novice – The game in its normal difficulty. This will follow the linear path of the game, with the normal characters available for the player to use.

Advanced – In the advanced mode, the difficulty is doubled. Side quests and raid combats are available in this mode. New units will also be added in some combat stages.

Veteran – The highest in difficulty, with one unlockable character. At the same time, there is no story followed in this mode, rather, a combat rush, side quests and stories will be available for the player.

Gameplay Sample Screens:

Command Florante (Captain) and Menandro (Sub-Captain) as well as other army units in battle. Strategize and plan a way to defeat the leader of the army and outwit them!
